Draw or Type: Which Signature Method Should You Use?
Draw a handwritten signature
Choose Draw when you want the signature you normally write by hand, or when instructions ask for a handwritten, running, or scanned signature.
Create a signature by typing
Choose Type when the document or workflow accepts a typed signature and you want to compare signature-style fonts before downloading one.
If the destination gives specific signature instructions, follow those instructions first. A typed signature should not replace normal handwriting when a handwritten or scanned signature is required.
Need a Signature for an Online Form?
Creating a signature and preparing the upload file are two different jobs. A form may require exact pixel dimensions, a maximum file size in KB, JPG/JPEG instead of PNG, or a specific background.

Why Use a Transparent PNG Signature?
A transparent PNG keeps the area around the signature clear instead of adding a white rectangle. That makes the image easier to place over many documents. If the destination accepts only JPG/JPEG or requires a white background, prepare a separate version for that upload rather than assuming PNG is accepted everywhere.
