What the RRB workflow checks
- Prefills the official 30–49 KB JPG/JPEG requirement.
- Creates the crop frame from the live portal dimensions you enter.
- Keeps the complete running signature visible and validates the final file.
How to create the correct file
- 1. Open the active RRB upload page and note its width and height.
- 2. Upload a running-hand signature on a clean white background.
- 3. Enter the portal dimensions and fit the handwriting inside the matching frame.
- 4. Keep JPG/JPEG and the 30–49 KB range selected.
- 5. Create the result and verify the final values before upload.
Common reasons for rejection
- Using block, capital or disconnected letters.
- Guessing dimensions from an older recruitment.
- Creating a file below 30 KB or above 49 KB.
- Using a coloured, shadowed or cluttered background.
Questions about this requirement
Why are the RRB dimensions not prefilled?
The official FAQ says dimensions are displayed on the Upload Profile Documents page. Entering those live values avoids using an outdated size.
Can I upload a block-letter signature?
No. Use the normal running signature required by the current RRB guidance.
Why are two KB fields shown?
RRB specifies both a minimum and a maximum, so the final file must remain between 30 KB and 49 KB.
Already have a signature file?
Check its exact KB, pixel dimensions, format and aspect ratio before uploading it to the form.
