A guided banking-signature workflow
- Prefills 140 × 60 pixels, 10–20 KB and JPG/JPEG.
- Uses a fixed crop frame so the signature does not appear tiny.
- Validates the final dimensions, KB range and format before download.
How to create the correct file
- 1. Sign normally with black ink on white paper.
- 2. Upload the image and fit the handwriting inside the fixed 140 × 60 frame.
- 3. Leave a small margin while keeping every stroke visible.
- 4. Create the selected 10–20 KB JPG/JPEG output.
- 5. Open the downloaded file once and confirm that it remains clear.
Common reasons for rejection
- Uploading a name in capital letters instead of the normal signature.
- Leaving large blank margins around the handwriting.
- Using strong background cleanup that erases thin strokes.
- Submitting another format or a file outside the stated range.
Questions about this requirement
Is 140×60 mandatory for every IBPS or SBI form?
It is a commonly preferred size in current IBPS-hosted guidance, but the active advertisement and upload screen remain final.
Why does the crop frame open first?
It lets the signature occupy the 140×60 canvas without stretching or excessive blank paper.
Is DPI required in the final file?
The official guidance describes scanner resolution, but application portals usually validate the uploaded dimensions, file size and format. DPI remains optional in the tool.
Already have a signature file?
Check its exact KB, pixel dimensions, format and aspect ratio before uploading it to the form.
